I love food and think that everyone should be able to enjoy eating and stay healthy at the same time. Unfortunately, in today’s world of fast food and take-aways, that’s sometimes not so simple! There’s also a lot of false and contradictory information out there which can make it complicated. I’d like to help simplify your life for you and make it all a bit easier to enjoy your food and stay trim and healthy.
All good nutritionists know that dieting without the proper balance is counter productive. Some people try so hard and make progress only to end up where they started, or sometimes, even worse off. Informed changes in your daily food choices and developing new habits will result in a healthier, happier you and sometimes, a whole new lifestyle.
I first became interested in nutrition when my young daughter started to display signs of food intolerances. I quickly discovered the true impact of eating healthily as her allergies became less severe and her overall health improved. It was at this point I decided to go back to university and study nutrition.
My passion for nutrition (and delicious, healthy food) goes hand-in-hand with my passion for exercise and sports of all kinds. Five years ago, I embarked more seriously on a weight-lifting regime. Now, it is an important part of my life and something I do without fail. I like to keep fit and strong so that I can continue to enjoy and play with my children.
For my clients, I help them to clearly define and reach their goals, what ever they may be. Whether you want to lose weight for an upcoming event like a wedding, if you’d like to have more energy or if you are chasing a certain physique, I will work with you to tailor a plan for you that will suit your schedule and food preferences.
