RNC’s Sport Nutrition Programme is a 6 week intensive programme designed to give you an in-depth understanding of your specific nutrition needs for your sport. In addition to your dietitian appointments, you will receive access to our sport nutrition online course with educational resources, worksheets, evidenced based sport nutrition information and recipes for fueling and recovery.

Whether you are an elite athlete or a weekend warrior; you need optimal nutrition to perform at your best! Our Dietitian and sport nutritionist will tailor a nutrition plan around your training, competition and daily schedule to ensure you maximize your energy, speed up your recovery and improve your overall performance.

One Initial appointment - 90 minutes

Initial appointment to assess nutrition requirements and develop a nutrition and hydration plan, take body composition measurements (if relevant) and set goals.

Three 45 minute follow up appointments

In these appointments we build on the sport nutrition education from previous sessions and online modules, review your progress, re-take body composition measurements (if relevant) tweak changes to your base plan and develop your nutrition and hydration plan for competition days.

The Sport Nutrition Programme is personalised and designed to be completed within 6 weeks as each educational session will lead on to the next.

Week One: Your initial consultation will include an analysis of your current diet, training programme, competition schedule and sporting goals. This information will be used to formulate your own personal sports nutrition plan.

Week Two: 45 minute follow up appointment. Online module: Focus on pre-fueling for your sport.

Week Three: Online module: Focus on hydration.

Week Four: 45 minute follow up appointment. Online module: Focus on fueling for competition and events.

Week Five: Online module: Focus on Supplements in Sport.

Week Six: 45 minute follow up appointment. Online module: Nutrition for Recovery.

Bonus content: Recipes for fueling and recovery, up to date sport nutrition news and research, hydration and fueling worksheets.
